I just found your website, after purchasing your book “Legends of The Nahini Valley” on Apple Books. I became interested in these stories after stumbling across a YouTube vid on the subject (and thanks to your site, now I have found your YouTube channel as well!).
Very cool website! I love the fiddle music – do you have more recordings that I could purchase within a specific genre (or a handful of genres?). I don’t have anything specific for you to accompany or play but I really dig some of the clips you shared and I’m interested in chopping/sampling your work. I have no commercial following whatsoever, I just enjoy making tunes. Typically though, should I ever “make it big” with a hit record, there’s an agreement where you’d be due a % (or not). This generally depends on the price of the audio to be sampled – if it’s cheap, the original composer typically gets a large share of any future revenue. Whereas if it’s pricey, some will sell it for any commercial use without further compensation. This is an oversimplification just in case you’re not familiar. In any case, I’ve no plans of “making it big with a hit record” – ha! I love the fiddle and it’s fairly difficult to find fiddle samples that are any good (same goes for many types of flute I have found – for whatever reason but I digress..)
Love the totems as well – especially the wolf +mammoth!
Anyway, off to read more of your book, mainly just wanted to drop a note so you know someone stopped by and admires your work. Keep it up.
